decided to try wod #1 from the CF games individual
9-7-5 muscle-ups (turn out at bottom, hung above extended arms) squat snatches (135#)
missed 2 muscle-ups #8 of first round and #5 of second. missed 1st snatch, 1 in the second round, and 4 in the third.
time was 8:59. i wish i would have stopped and collected myself before starting last round of snatches, would have saved me a little extra work, b/c my missed snatches were b/c i was out of breath and not focused.
overall, i felt pretty good with this workout, mainly because both movements are things im really comfortable with. so basically i cherry picked today. :)
6:56 as rx'd, everything unbroken - even with Dave not letting me use my favorite yellow & gray wall ball... (I think he was trying to "get into my kitchen" with one of his Jedi mind tricks!)
My quads were (and still are) in shambles from "The Chief" yesterday, so I was proud of myself for fighting thru it today.
Time for some R & R with the family and 3-6 Michelob Ultras!

This was definately a tough week of workouts and my shoulders are shot.
Today I finished in 7:43 and as usual my slowest part was the burpees. I did them unbroken, but I just don't have the speed.
no better way to start my Friday than with 2 awesome groups this morning.
Hats off to the 5 and 6 am classes!
